About QSYNC

QSYNC builds a family of music-first apps for the way real collections are actually listened to: large libraries, surround and Atmos, and hi-fi systems.
It started with a remote that respects a serious music library, and has grown into a connected family: a player, a remote, a metadata editor, a metadata service, reporting, and shared licensing, all built on one shared UI framework and one licensing system.
Everything is designed around a simple idea: your music, and your hardware, deserve software that was built for them, not adapted as an afterthought.
Our Founder's Vision
QMP stemmed from my vision of 'what would the perfect music player be?'
Simple idea, impossible dream? No. I am an experienced software developer. Many years designing complex multiuser systems used in complex process real-time control systems (Oil & Gas, petrochemical, robotics, factory automation). I am a music lover and stereo, quad, surround, immersive music nut. Anything/everything is possible. It really is!
QSYNC is about to launch worldwide, 40+ languages, 3 cloud servers (US, EU, AU). QMP will run on most platforms at launch. There will be TV apps, OEM boards for AVRs and audiophile pre-processors. This will happen. QSYNC will have a Music Store in near future too. This is not a little app that will remain mostly unknown. It will play everything, eventually on billions of devices.
What you will get at launch is not what you will see in 2 months or in 6 or 12 months. QSYNC will continuously evolve, more features, more metadata, more users, more apps, more...
