QSYNC Music Tagger (QMT)
Tag your music - or skip tagging entirely.
Tagging a big collection by hand is soul-destroying - and you still end up with messy files. QSYNC Music Tagger (QMT) fingerprints releases and can write straight to your library.
What it does
- Tag manually, from MusicBrainz, or fully automatically by audio fingerprint
- Recursive, folder-deep auto-tagging of many releases at once - fast
- Fetch rich metadata from Discogs - performer credits, instruments, images
- Cached, un-gated metadata from QSYNC servers - fast
- Your privacy first: contributing what you tag back to the shared QSYNC cache is opt-in - off unless you switch on Share Metadata in Settings
- Save tags & metadata straight to the QSYNC Media Player database - no need to touch your files at all
- Fetch cover art and disc art
- Built-in image restoration - denoise, sharpen and clean up old artist photos
- Handles all common formats incl. Matroska (MKV/MKA), ISO and disc-folder backups
